PECULIARITIES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STORY GENRE

This article analyzes the peculiarities of the story, which is the small genre of prose, the possibilities of the genre, the stages of formation, the principles of development.
In addition to Uzbek storytelling, the historical stages of English, Russian,Turkish and Persian stories have been partially studied and general conclusions have been drawn based on various scientific sources. Literary-artistic interpretation of the scientific views of literary scholars in the coverage of the scientific-theoretical essence of this genre.
It is researched the current state of development of national storytelling, the artistic principles of the renewal process based on the works of innovative writers of Uzbek storytelling.
It is defined that the basic principles of development of Uzbek storytelling in terms of form and content, style.
