This article discusses in detail the importance of non-literary language tools in linguistics and their expression in literary texts. In addition, the fact that a word is the main means of creating an artistic image, a denotation of a word, expressing connotative meaning, synonymy and polysemy, archaism, dialectics, vulgarism, slang and the role of lexical means in our language system.
