DEVELOPING WRITING ABILITIES OF EFL STUDENTS THROUGH BLOGGING

The aim of this study is to review the using blogs in teaching the writing skills to students: we explore various types of blogs and review their didactic features and methodological function; suggest to develop writing skills via blogs; and determine the stages of students’ writing skills development via blogs. This paper reports on a process approach to the writing by implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies such as a cycle of blogging activities within different levels of courses of English language for academic purposes at the universities of Uzbekistan.
