MODERNISM IN WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS’ POETRY

The subject of our work is modernism in William Butler Yeats’ poetry, interpretation of its symbols, connections with authors’ intellectual condition. The aim of writing this work is to study Yeats’ creative way, style, and to analyze the poetical and psychological peculiarities of modernism in his poetry. Through analyses of the poem “Sailing to Byzantium” W.B.Yeats’ modernistic features as rebellion against tradition and self-discovery are opened.
