REFLECTION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NATURE AND HUMAN IN LITERATURE

Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic interpretation of the relationship between nature and humans in modern Uzbek literature through an ecocritical approach. The study explores the poetic expression of ecological culture, ecological consciousness, and cultural ecology in literature, revealing the function of nature as an artistic landscape and its deep connection with the spiritual world of the lyrical persona. Special attention is given to the poetry of H. Khudayberdiyeva, where love for nature, compassion for living beings, and the human’s moral responsibility toward the environment are vividly reflected. Using the poems “Mother Earth” and “The Bird’s Pain” as examples, the article examines the poetic interpretation of ecological problems, the embodiment of nature as a living image, and its role in shaping ecological culture. The article proposes new scholarly approaches to understanding ecological values, human–nature harmony, and the formation of ecological consciousness through literature in Uzbek poetry.
