LINGUISTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF POLITICAL DISCOURSE IN ENGLISH

In this article, an attempt was made to analyze the linguistic features of English political discourse on the example of various political discourses and to reveal its unique linguistic aspect by expressing it with examples. It is revealed by arguing that political discourse in English is a rich field of study, characterized by its unique use of language to persuade, inform and mobilize the public, it contains a variety of linguistic features that are distinctive.
