MYSTICAL MEANINGS OF THE SYMBOL “SOUL” IN THE GHAZALIES OF ABDURAKHMAN JAMI

Abstract

The frequent use of one word in the works of classical poets indicates that it reflects its unique and colorful meaning and content. In the ghazals of Abdurrahman Jami, the word “soul” is used 1099 times. The article examines a number of mystical meanings and semantic features of the image of “soul” in Jami’s ghazals from a linguapoetic point of view. The purpose of studying Sufi terms is to clearly show their essence and status, their meanings, semantic sphere and use in poetic and prose works. After all, the works of Sufi writers played an important role in the development and formation of the literary language and covered a significant part of literature as a wonderful social and aesthetic phenomenon that entered literature in a short period of time. This style of expression is associated with worldview, moral and intellectual perception, logical thinking and new emotions. Therefore, every word or term created on the basis of poetry is used by the poet according to the creator’s intention.
