Through this article, the creation of creative works from the raw material of clay in the art of pottery is covered in detail. The development stages of pottery art in our country, the relevance of artistic pottery in the next period have been described in detail. The purpose and tasks of the article is to explain the relevance of the master-apprentice traditions of pottery in Uzbekistan. The schools and styles of artistic pottery, modern pottery, i.e. pottery of the period of independence, are explained in detail. Based on the main content of the research, the role and importance of simple clay, which is considered a natural raw material, in people's lives has been highlighted.
