COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS AS A NEW FIELD AND ITS TOPICAL ISSUES.

Abstract

This article explains the essence, basic concepts and principles, integrative nature of cognitive linguistics, which is one of the new branches of modern linguistics. In addition, thoughts on the concept of "concept", which is considered an important object of cognitive linguistics, were discussed, and the theoretical views of scientists in this regard were expressed. Also, in this article, the analysis of syntactic devices within the concept of "comparison" and the analysis of the dynamic features of the system and the research of the unique verbal tools of the "comparison" category in the language on the basis of comparative-typological methodology and the manifestation of linguo-cultural and pragmatic features in the course of the realization of this conceptospheric semantics are discussed and  examples shown.
