A speech act is a purposeful speech action that is accepted by members of the community and performed in accordance with the rules of speech behavior. A speech act is performed within the framework of speech communication, is formed in connection with the participants in the speech, the speech situation, the general knowledge of native speakers about the object of speech, the language knowledge and skills of the speech participants. General language knowledge and language skills of the participants in the speech should be included in the list of components necessary for the validity of the speech act. If the participants in the speech do not have a general knowledge of the language (even sign language), the speech act will not only be incomprehensible to the parties, but is also unlikely to take place.
