Abstract

This article discusses the role of the globalization process in language development, the different views on neologisms, in particular the positive and negative effects of assimilation neologisms on language. The importance of electronic dictionaries in the regulation of new lexical elements in the language was also emphasized, and the effective use of internal resources in enriching the lexicon with new words was identified as a priority.
