This article provides an analysis of the development of documentaries made in Uzbekistan in the 50-80s, the themes and genres of documentaries of this period, as well as opinions and comments on them. It was during this period that new genres began to emerge: cinema, film epic, film poem, film drama, film reportage.
Views on the tendency to create works in the genres of historical and biographical essays include changes in the social, economic and spiritual life of the article at that time, analysis of new views. By this time, the documentary, which had expanded ideologically and thematically, provided a thorough analysis of the diversity of ideas and methods.
