COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES IN THE CONTEXT OF DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Importance of pragmatic aspect of communicative competence has been increased since implementation of new curricula, created on the basis of CEFR standard.
In the researches in the field of pragmalinguistics and linguodidactics a communication strategy is analyzed. A communicative strategy is grounded with intention and associated with communicative behavior. The efficacy of developing communicant and cognizant depends directly on the experience in usage of any strategies.
This article is devoted to analyzing of taxonomy of communication strategies and defining their didactic status in the context of developing communicative competence. The most widespread academic approaches to understanding a concept of communication strategies and their classifications are summarized, as well as problems related to teaching communication strategies are specified.
