THE ROLE OF LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL RESEARCH IN MODERN LINGUISTICS

As a result of the integration of linguistics with the sciences - primarily with cultural studies, ethnology and ethnography - cultural linguistics or linguoculturology was formed. Comparison of different cultures leads to the question of national identity in language and culture. This article discusses the role and main directions of linguoculturological research in modern linguistics. At the same time, the views of foreign and Uzbek scientists were studied, as well as the connection of linguistics with other disciplines.
