LEXICOGRAPHIC INTERPRETATION OF UZBEK LEXIC SYNONYMS

This article discusses the study of synonyms and the reflection of lexical synonyms in dictionaries. Information about the meaning of the word, how to use it and related information can be found in the glossary. The role of annotated dictionaries in the development of language is incomparable with the correct interpretation of their meanings. There are still problems with lexical synonyms in dictionaries. The Uzbek Explanatory Dictionary provides examples of synonyms, lexical doublets, and the fact that words in a synonymous series are not fully reflected in the explanatory dictionary. Research on the phenomenon of synonymy, dictionaries became the basis for the article. The article tried to explain the problems of lexicographic interpretation of lexical synonyms and some comments were made on the Glossary of Uzbek Synonyms.
