PROGMALINGVISTIC FEATURES OF COMPLIMENT

Abstract

Today, the study of the relationship of linguistics with anthropology, psychology, sociology, cultural studies and a number of other disciplines, significantly expanding the range of research objects remains the main task facing science. The anthropocentric principle, which placed man at the center of linguistics with all its psychological features, social and cultural values, contributed to the formation of a number of new linguistic sciences, including pragmalinguistics, speech act theory, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics. How language works, that is, the problem of its application in practice, is one of the most widely studied issues in modern linguistics. At the same time, the study of the pragmalinguistic properties of compliment, a fatal form of verbal communication that serves a number of functions in the communication process, harmonizing and softening human relations, the creation of a theory of linguistic compliment is a problem awaiting solution in linguistic development.
