This article is devoted to the study of intercultural communication, its features, as well as the problems and prospects of it. The problems and prospects of intercultural communication as a new direction in science are also relevant today. The increased interest in the problems of intercultural communication is associated, first of all, with the fact that the process of international integration brings to the fore the study of the cultural identity of various linguistic communities. The study of the phenomenon of intercultural communication is most directly related to the study of the features of interlanguage communication, since it is in the language, as in a mirror, that the originality of the national mentality of a particular people is reflected. In this article, we tried to reveal some specifics of intercultural communication and answer topical questions.
