MIRATIVE CATEGORY AS A GRAMMATICAL INDICATOR

The provided article reveals the category of mirativity on the examples of the English and Uzbek languages as well as the pictures clarifying the category of mirativity. Furthermore, morphological units that form the category of mirativity and types of mirativity were also analyzed using the example of literary texts within the framework of two languages. The article examines the grammatical connection and differences aspects of the expressions of mirativity with the evidential system. Also, in both languages, examples of how to make mirthful expressions using emotional exclamations and prepositions in Uzbek and English were given.
