ROLE OF ANTIDEPRESSANTS IN REDUCING THE FREQUENCY AND DURATION OF MIGRAIN HEADACHES

Migraine headache is a chronic neurological disease and is the fourth most commonly diagnosed disease in the world. In many cases, patient diagnosed with migraine also develop depression, which hinders treatment and leads to overuse of medication. In a scientific study, the effectiveness of antidepressant medication in the treatment of migraine in addition to the main standard medical treatment was studies in order to reduce the number, duration and level of depression in patients diagnosed with migraine.
