GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ALGERIAN AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL NOVEL IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

In this article, we tried to reflect on the «autobiographical novel» genre. We will consider this genre in the study of its place in Algerian literature on the example of the following three works: «Jacinthe noire» by Taos Amrush; « Le Fils du pauvre» by Molud Feraun and «L’Amour la fantasia» by Assia Djebar. Our main task was, first of all, to start with the general meaning of these works, which is a crucial starting point, and it is from this definitional basis that our work has developed.
