DESCRIPTION OF EXTRAORDINARY AND UNEXPECTED DISASTERS IN FICTION

In the last century alone, tens of millions of people died due to earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, fires, avalanches, floods, and epidemics. There are also man-made disasters that are not inferior to natural disasters in terms of scale, and they have a negative impact on the state of the globe today. Examples of this include wars, erosion of the ozone layer, global warming, melting of glaciers, environmental pollution, loss of animal and plant species. Such catastrophes are one of the interesting topics for the writer and literary critic to create and analyze the reality of the text. In this article, we tried to analyze to what extent the depiction of emergency situations and the psychology and physiology of the hero in reality are covered in the work of art.
