Abstract

Construction defects accelerate the deterioration of a building, leading to more frequent repairs with an increase in operating. Maintenance costs of up to 4% or more of the total construction cost per year. A building condition assessment is carried out in order to identify defects and assess the condition of the building. Existing evaluation models are subjective and time-consuming.
