This article presents physiological and hemological indicators of local goats bred in the northern part of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. It also provides a description of the study of the morphological composition of the blood of goats, depending on the season of the year. Livestock is an important component of agriculture in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, which provides the population with food, industry and raw materials. Its importance is especially growing in connection with the intensive growth of industry, the production of new products, the increase in the number of people living in cities and centralized settlements.
The standard of living of people living here often depends on the condition of livestock and pastures. Therefore, one of the main problems of sustainable development of the region is to ensure the rational management of pasture animal husbandry.
