FACTORS FOR IMPROVING THE TECHNOLOGICAL RELIABILITY OF COTTON HARVESTING MACHINES

Abstract

At present, one of the important tasks facing the machinery of the agro-industrial complex of our country, including cotton pickers, is to increase the reliability of their units and assemblies, as well as to increase the efficiency of using cotton pickers by reducing cotton waste during the harvesting process. Solutions to increase the reliability of cotton pickers at the operational stage can be implemented by using new elements and basic diagrams, as well as by timely and high-quality diagnostics of the condition of the units and assemblies of these machines. Reduction of cotton waste during the cotton harvesting period can be achieved by adjusting the working bodies of cotton pickers in accordance with the relief of the field.

As is known, important and basic indicators for cotton pickers are cotton yield, crop density, percentage of opening, as well as the productivity of the picker and the coefficient of use of working time. To perform these tasks, it is proposed to install mini-electric motors on each machine, which will allow adapting and adjusting cotton pickers to different reliefs of cotton fields. The article provides information about the electric motor installed in the devices and some of its indicators, allowing to solve this problem to a certain extent.
