ATTENTION TO IMPLEMENTATION OF WATER-SAVING TECHNOLOGIES

Uzbekistan ranks 1st in Central Asia and 13 th in the world in the implementation of water-saving technologies. At the same time, water-saving technologies have been introduced on 1,2 million (28%) of the country’s 4,3 million irrigated areas. Of these, drip irrigation is used on 473,5 thousand hectares, sprinkler irrigation - on 44,7 thousand hectares, discrete irrigation - on 18 thousand hectares, laser leveling - on 569 thousand hectares, other water-saving technologies - on 133,9 thousand hectares.
