Abstract

The durability of the elements of earth-moving machines largely depends on the wear resistance of the working surfaces, which is provided by various methods of hardening. Based on the operating conditions of the working bodies and the analysis of the methods of the classical technology of heat treatment of surfaces, a technology for hardening surfaces using electromechanical processing is proposed. On the basis of theoretical and experimental studies, technological modes of processing are substantiated and a regression equation of the influence of modes on the hardness of the working surface is derived.
