This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the medical insurance system on public health in diabetes mellitus. Based on empirical data from various countries, the study examines how the expansion of insurance coverage improves access to medical services for diabetic patients, how it affects the effectiveness of blood glucose control, and how it prevents disease complications. The article also highlights the role of the national medical insurance system in the fight against diabetes for middle- and low-income countries. The research results confirm that comprehensive medical insurance reduces treatment costs for diabetic patients, decreases hospitalization cases, and improves overall health indicators.
