Abstract

This article analyzes the dynamic changes in the levels of IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α cytokines in patients with intestinal helminthiases, particularly ascariasis, enterobiasis, and hymenolepiasis. The study highlights the activation of the immune response during helminth infections, the disruption of the balance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory mediators, and the relationship of these processes with the clinical course of the disease. The article substantiates that the determination of IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α cytokines may serve as an important diagnostic and prognostic criterion for assessing the activity and severity of helminthiases, the risk of allergic complications, and treatment effectiveness.
