Abstract

In patients with locally and locally advanced gastric tumors, functional disorders and an excess of nutritional deficiencies led to the development of "rehabilitation" concept. Multimodal rehabilitation involves a combination of therapeutic exercise, nutritional support, and psychological support in preparing patients for anti-tumor treatment. The results of the treatment of 30 patients with resectable stomach cancer and cancer-related cachexia were analyzed. Patients underwent extensive pre-operative training, including nutrition, physical therapy, and distance psychological counseling.
