Abstract

In this article, special emphasis is placed on the question of the place of man in the philosophy of history of G. W. F. Hegel, a prominent representative of German classical philosophy. In particular, the role of man in history, man and spirit, the importance of desire, passion, will, character and other psychological concepts in human life are analyzed. Also, the fact that the history of mankind is a cyclical process and the influence of the soul, which is the synthesis of the absolute idea, the transformation of the individual, the individuality of the individual due to historical necessity, and the absorption into the life of the society and the state, which is the commonality, are researched on the basis of the work "Philosophy of History".
