ISLAM REJECTS TERROR: ORIGINS, FACTORS AND SOURCES

The article reveals the essence of two concepts - Islam and Islamism. In the first, the religion of Islam, in its canons and goals, is categorically against forcing harm to humanity, calls for ensuring human life and creates equal conditions for people of other religious beliefs. Islam is open to all people, and has declared it an obligatory religious duty of Muslims to believe in all "Heavenly religions". Terrorist and extremist elements have existed in the history of Islam throughout its historical past. There was the politicization of Islam, there were the first radical and extremist movements of the Kharijites, Murji'ah and Muʿtazila (7-8 centuries), Takfir as a form of terror, radical teachings of the Hanbalis (9th-11th centuries), Bid’ah preachers, the announcement of the Balfour Declaration, the first terrorist and extremist organizations in the Middle East: "Haganah", "Irgun Tsvai Leumi", "Muslim Brotherhood", "Al-Qaeda", "Islamic State" . It is indicated that terror and religion are antipodes.
