Bolalik va o'spirinlik davrida epilepsiya, bugungi kunning hamda ko'plab mutaxassislarning fanlararo yondashuv muammosi hisoblanadi,. Yosh avlod tanasida transformatsiyaning polimorfizmi nafaqat kasallikni tashxislashda, balki dorilarning o'zaro ta'sirini, ularning gormonal holatiga, tug'ilish ko'rsatkichlariga va boshqa nojo'ya ta'sirlarga ta'sirini hisobga olgan holda davolanishni optimallashtirishda ham aniqroq yondashuvni talab qiladi.
