EPILEPSY IN CHILDREN: TACTICS OF MANAGEMENT, STAGES OF PROVIDING MEDICAL REHABILITATION

The article provides information on the prevalence of epilepsy among children, types of rehabilitation for children with epilepsy. Data on the tactics of management, selection of patients for dispensary observation, stages of providing medical and physiotherapeutic rehabilitation in children with epilepsy are presented. Information about the selection of patients for dispensary observation is given. The stages of medical and physiotherapeutic rehabilitation of patients with epilepsy combined with organic brain damage are given. The tactics of physiotherapeutic management of patients with epilepsy depending on epileptic patterns are highlighted. There is information about the choice of antiepileptic drugs in the form of monotherapy for various types of epileptic seizures. The article will be useful to neurologists, epileptologists, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists.
