Central dizziness remains one of the most frequent and clinically significant neurological symptoms in patients with ischemic stroke, occurring in 10-25% of cases of acute cerebral circulation disorders. The pathophysiological mechanism of dizziness is associated with the damage to the structures of the central nervous system responsible for integrating vestibular information and maintaining balance, which significantly affects the course, prognosis, and outcome of the disease.
