APPLICATION OF SINGAPORE'S EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN TOURISM

This article presents the current situation of tourism in Singapore. The popular routes and the main products offered to tourists are considered. High achievements in the tourism industry were the result of the gradual introduction of information and communication technologies into production processes, and then complete digitalization. The adoption of more than ten regulations stimulating the activities of travel companies and the introduction of digital programs was important. Digitalization has covered not only the tourism sector, but also almost all sectors of the economy thanks to the application of the Singapore innovative model of state regulation. An analysis of the tourism business in developing countries and countries with economies in transition revealed similar problems in the use of modern electronic technologies that hinder development. Based on the experience of the tourism industry in Singapore and other developed countries, proposals were made on the use of a wide range of information and communication technologies and the further development of tourism in Uzbekistan.
